New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company is seeking an Identity Governance Lead to help our client with the selection and implementation of an Identity & Access Governance platform while driving the delivery of new features, enhancements, and integrations.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the IAM/RBAC products and features, from conception to launch and beyond.
- Define and drive the product strategy, roadmap and backlog understanding business and Workforce Identity Governance Program objectives and translating them into product requirements and actionable plans.
- Measure success of the IAM/RBAC products, monitor performance, adoption rates, and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating effective collaboration across the organization.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in areas such as EntraID and Identity & Access Governance products. This includes staying abreast of the latest developments in these areas, advising the team on the adoption of new technologies or practices, and ensuring our products maintain a competitive edge.
- Identify, assess, and manage potential risks associated with team products and services.
- Ensure products and practices adhere to the highest level of industry standards, legal and regulatory requirements, and best practices for security and data privacy.
- Partners with Capability Pods and other Product Teams to ensure that processes and tools are aligned and support the Business Technology organization and systems.
- Manages vendor performance and contracts including creating Statements of Work (SOW), Managed Security Services (MSS), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and implementing the Vendor Performance Management system (VPM) for large contracts.
- Manages budget as needed.
- Other tasks as reasonably required by the Program Manager.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a product owner or similar role within a technology-focused organization.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IAM, IGA, and/or PAM and understanding of industry standards (e.g. NIST 800-63, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ZeroTrust).
- Deep understanding of IAM/RBAC technologies, cloud-based systems, and cybersecurity principles. In particular principles of least privilege and zero standing privilege, building role-based access control matrices, and policy-based access control.
- Past success in shaping highly scalable software products with an eye on ease-of-use.
- Proven experience with managing Identity and Access Technologies, including but not limited to technologies such as SailPoint, Saviynt, ForgeRock, Okta, CyberArk.
- Prior experience working in Agile environments, with proficiency in managing product backlogs and planning sprints.
- Prior experience with AuthN/AuthZ: basic web authentication, SAML, OAuth/OpenID, MFA, Role Based access control (RBAC), FIDO2, Policy Based Access Control (PBAC).
Preferred Skills:
- Public Sector experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with the latest trends and innovations in the Identity and Access Management space.
- Past success in deploying and managing identity lifecycle and governance solutions (e.g. SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, ForgeRock).
- Certifications (e.g., CSPO, CSM, PMP, CISSP, or equivalent) will be considered a plus.
