Cybersecurity Solutions Architect
As a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust cybersecurity solutions for CGI and our clients. You will be responsible for assessing security requirements, developing architectures, and overseeing the implementation of security solutions to protect sensitive information and infrastructure from cyber threats. Your future duties and responsibilities
-Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, security requirements, and compliance needs.
-Design end-to-end cybersecurity solutions tailored to meet clients' specific needs, considering factors such as infrastructure, applications, data, and user access.
-Develop detailed architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation plans for cybersecurity solutions.
-Evaluate existing security systems and processes, identifying vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
-Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, and incorporate them into solution designs.
-Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams during solution implementation and deployment.
-Conduct risk assessments and security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to integrate security best practices into all aspects of the business.
-Act as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity, providing thought leadership and contributing to the development of best practices and standards.
-Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution presentations, proposal development, and technical demonstrations.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
-Proven experience (10 years) working as a cybersecurity solution architect or a similar role in a complex IT environment.
-Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices, including network security, identity and access management, encryption, and vulnerability management.
-Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, endpoint protection, and encryption solutions.
-Experience with cloud security principles and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
-Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
-Proven track record of successfully delivering cybersecurity projects on time and within budget.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
