We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Level 1-2 IT Technician - Help Desk to be based with our client in St-Hyacinthe, a leader in pork production and meat processing in Canada and internationally.

What You Will Do
-
Take responsibility for onsite technical support.

Strive to resolve all incidents in a timely manner.

Provide support outside regular office hours when necessary.

Liaise with key stakeholders and other support staff (both external and internal).

Quickly learn new technologies and share knowledge openly, especially by contributing to knowledge repositories.

Participate in developing, documenting, and updating all support processes and procedures.

Contribute to the development and implementation of end-user training programs to improve productivity through better use of IT services and applications.

Demonstrate strong listening and verbal communication skills to engage with stakeholders to understand and improve their tech experience.

Continuously identify and implement process improvements to ensure a consistent and positive client experience by simplifying processes, automating, and eliminating issues.

Approach problems with curiosity and an interest in innovation, emerging technologies, and continuous improvement.

Support other members of the IT functional team in planning, developing, and executing IT initiatives and projects.
What We’re Looking For

Post-secondary degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of three (3) years of IT experience.

Bilingual in English and French, both spoken and written.
-
Team-oriented.
-
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

In-depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft environments, including Microsoft Office 365, Exchange, Dynamics 365, Azure Active Directory.

Experience with incident, request, and asset management procedures.
-
Proficiency and experience in identity and access management processes and tools.

Experience with operating systems such as Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android.

Experience with video conferencing equipment.

Experience in troubleshooting and repairing computers and printers.

Knowledge and experience in desktop imaging processes and application packaging solutions.

Basic networking experience.
