Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst to drive the evolution of their enterprise technology landscape. This role is critical to shaping the future IT strategy and guiding the modernization of legacy systems. The ideal candidate will contribute to building an efficient and future-proof technology framework, ensuring alignment between business goals and IT capabilities while unlocking efficiencies and fostering interoperability.
In this role, you will work closely with business and IT leaders to create roadmaps, define enterprise architecture strategies, and modernize core applications. You will play a vital role in driving operational excellence, delivering value through innovation, and supporting the organization's long-term goals for scalability and technological advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Analysis & Innovation
- Develop strategic approaches for modernizing business applications, driving innovation, and enhancing business-IT alignment.
- Lead the development of business cases, identifying opportunities for future technological investments and improvements.
- Design and implement IT Operating Models and Roadmaps that support the organization's strategic objectives.
- Identify key requirements in people, processes, and technologies to operationalize new IT models.
- Provide actionable insights and diagnostics to enable informed decision-making by business and IT leadership.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture teams to refine the EA discipline, ensuring it supports business goals.
- Create business architecture deliverables that outline strategic intentions, potential impacts, and associated risks.
- Ensure consistency and alignment between business architecture and other architecture viewpoints, including technical and solutions architecture.
- Lead initiatives to modernize legacy applications, enhancing efficiency and interoperability.
- Identify and implement solutions that enable future technology integration and unlock operational efficiencies.
- Build collaborative relationships with key business and IT stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making and execution.
- Facilitate workshops and presentations to capture insights, generate consensus, and promote the adoption of new technologies and processes.
- Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions during system transformations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strategic Business Analysis: Minimum 5 years of proven ability to analyze complex business processes and formulate strategic recommendations for IT modernization and transformation.
- Minimum 2 years experience with enterprise architecture principles, with experience developing IT frameworks and roadmaps that align with business goals.
- In-depth understanding of current and emerging technologies, with the ability to assess their impact on the organization.
- Experience managing large-scale IT transformation projects from planning through execution.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders and facilitating workshops.
- Demonstrated experience leading change initiatives, particularly within IT environments, ensuring successful adoption and transition.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Data Analytics: Strong data analysis capabilities to support decision-making and strategy development.
- Vendor Management: Experience managing technology vendor relationships to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of agile methodologies and their application in IT project management.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of IT budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, and financial planning for technology investments.
- Cybersecurity Awareness: Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and their application in enterprise IT strategy and risk management.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12-18 months
Pay: $150,000.00-$170,000.00 per year
