Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Device Management (MDM) Analyst to support us for an ongoing MDM migration initiative (Airwatch to Intune). Ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in both Airwatch and Intune environments for providing effective support and direction. The candidate must have a strong background in customer service and must be able to provide L1 and L2 support to customers with varied levels of technology exposure. This position will work under the supervision of Endpoint Security/Management lead.
Duties:
· Conduct end-to-end migrations from AirWatch to Intune, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to users.
· Managing ABM (Apple Business Manager)
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and define migration strategies.
· Perform in-depth analysis of existing AirWatch configurations, policies, and profiles, and develop corresponding Intune configurations.
· Configure and manage Intune policies, profiles, and compliance settings to meet organizational security and compliance requirements.
· Provide L1 and L2 support for mobile devices, such as assisting users with backup and restore procedures for iOS and Android devices, troubleshooting device issues, and resolving user inquiries in a timely manner.
· Provide hands on support for device backups using 3rd party storage such as OneDrive
· Proactively monitor and analyze mobile device management systems and tools to identify potential issues and optimize performance.
· Document migration processes, procedures, and technical specifications for future reference.
· Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to MDM, specifically AirWatch and Intune, and make recommendations for process improvements.
· Conduct training sessions and create user guides to educate end-users on MDM policies and practices.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in mobile device management, specifically in AirWatch to Intune migrations.
· Strong knowledge of MDM concepts, including device enrollment, configuration, and management.
· Experience providing L1 and L2 support for mobile devices, troubleshooting issues, and resolving user inquiries.
· Knowledge and understanding of Apple Business Manager (ABM)
· Proficiency in configuring and managing Intune policies, profiles, and compliance settings.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
· Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
· Solid understanding of network protocols, security principles, and mobile device security best practices.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
· Certifications relevant to the job are preferred but not required.
