Position Description
Location: Regina, SK – Full-time onsite
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Travel/On-Call: Occasional travel and rotational on-call required
We are seeking an experienced Network Analyst to design, administer, secure, and support enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises, data centre, field, and cloud environments. The role requires strong hands-on networking expertise, troubleshooting skills, and experience working within complex enterprise environments.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Administer, implement, troubleshoot, optimize, and document enterprise network infrastructure.
Design scalable, secure, and highly available network solutions.
Provide senior-level technical support and engineering for network technologies.
Monitor network performance and resolve availability and connectivity issues.
Manage network upgrades, security updates, change control, and disaster recovery activities.
Support network technology deployments within enterprise projects.
Maintain network standards, procedures, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, project, and business teams.
Stay current with networking technologies, security practices, and industry standards.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Minimum 5 years of recent network administration experience, including network design/architecture.
Key Skills & Experience
Spine-and-Leaf data centre networking, VXLAN and BGP EVPN.
Routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.
Strong Cisco experience with switches, routers, IOS, IOS-XE, and NX-OS.
Fortinet technologies including firewalls, switches, access points, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiNAC.
Microsoft Azure networking including VNets, peering, route tables, Front Door, WAF, and NSGs.
Experience with OCI, load balancers, web application firewalls, and network security best practices.
Enterprise hybrid cloud and on-premises network integration.
Experience with ITIL, Change Management, LTE/satellite technologies, and SCADA networks is an asset.
Experience within government, public sector, utilities, energy, oil & gas, or similar regulated enterprise environments is an asset.
Strong collaboration, communication, and technical documentation skills.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $50,000-$100,000 This role is a future opportunity.
