The Opportunity
Reporting to the AVP, Risk, the Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization’s cybersecurity operations by monitoring security events, analyzing potential threats, and assisting with incident response activities. The role focuses on building practical security experience while contributing to the detection, investigation, and mitigation of cyber risks. The Analyst helps maintain a strong security posture through operational support, continuous learning, and collaboration across IT and business teams.
This position offers a hybrid work environment, with a primary corporate office in Cambridge and access to a satellite office in Toronto.
The Role
As The Successful Candidate, You Will
- Monitor security alerts and events, supporting the detection, investigation, and response to cybersecurity incidents
- Support incident response activities including triage, containment, eradication, and recovery, escalating complex issues as required
- Participate in proactive threat hunting and assist with validating and documenting findings
- Perform vulnerability identification, analysis, and prioritization, supporting risk‑based remediation efforts
- Support penetration testing and red‑team exercises, including reviewing and tracking findings to closure
- Assist with the deployment, tuning, and optimization of cybersecurity tools and technologies
- Prepare operational reports, metrics, and clear, business‑relevant updates on security risks and remediation progress
Your Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems, computer science, or a related technology field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3 years of experience in information technology and/or cybersecurity, with security‑related designations considered an asset
- Working knowledge of incident response processes, vulnerability management, and security monitoring practices
- Ability to analyze threat intelligence, vulnerability data, and business context to assess real‑world risk
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001, and their application to risk and control implementation
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with experience supporting root‑cause analysis and documenting lessons learned
- Ability to translate technical security findings into clear, actionable insights for technical and non‑technical audiences

Salary Range
The expected base salary range for this position is $75,000 – $95,000.
The actual salary will be determined based on factors including but not limited to, market conditions, relevant experience, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, qualifications, and education.
Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs to earn additional compensation. Incentive compensation is tied to established business and individual performance targets.
