Role Overview
We are seeking an IT Infrastructure & Security Specialist to join our IT Operations team. This role combines cloud infrastructure management, cybersecurity operations, networking, and L1/L2 technical support.
The ideal candidate has strong experience managing Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS infrastructure, networking, and enterprise systems, while also supporting internal users and maintaining secure, reliable IT operations in a fast-growing organization. The role also plays an important part in maintaining Frontier’s security posture, including security tooling, monitoring, and internal security awareness initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Cloud Operations
- Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, SharePoint, endpoint management, and security configurations.
- Support and maintain Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure, including virtual networks, access controls, system monitoring, and connectivity.
- Manage VPN connectivity, networking infrastructure, firewalls, and virtual networks to ensure secure and reliable connectivity across systems and users.
- Maintain and support SFTP servers and secure file transfer processes used for business integrations.
- Assist with maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of SQL databases supporting internal applications and integrations.
- Administer and support VoIP and cloud telephony platforms (such as RingCentral), including user provisioning, call routing, integrations, and troubleshooting.
Cybersecurity
- Administer and monitor Microsoft Defender and other enterprise security platforms used for endpoint, identity, and email protection.
- Investigate security alerts, assist with incident response, and support vulnerability remediation and access management practices including MFA enforcement.
- Help maintain Frontier’s overall security posture through monitoring, policy enforcement, and collaboration with leadership on security initiatives.
- Lead internal security awareness initiatives, including employee security training programs and simulated phishing campaigns.
- Coordinate with external security vendors to conduct periodic penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, including managing testing scope, scheduling, remediation tracking, and follow-up verification.
IT Support & Business Systems
- Provide L1–L2 technical support for employees across the organization, troubleshooting issues related to Microsoft 365, ERP, networking, and SaaS platforms.
- Manage user provisioning, permissions, device setup, and access controls across enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve system issues, improve reliability, and document processes and solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or similar roles.
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 environments, including identity and security management.
- Experience managing Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of networking, VPNs, firewalls, and virtual networks.
- Experience supporting IT Helpdesk / L1-L2 support in a business environment.
- Experience maintaining SFTP servers and secure file transfer processes.
- Experience with SQL database maintenance, backups, and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting ERP systems (preferably Acumatica) and other SaaS business applications.
- Experience administering Microsoft Defender or comparable enterprise security platforms.

- Experience with PowerShell or scripting for automation
- Experience working in e-commerce environments
- Experience supporting or maintaining infrastructure for chatbots, AI tools, or conversational platforms
- Experience supporting or maintaining data warehouse infrastructure and data pipelines
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
