TekStaff's Client has a current vacancy for a Vulnerability Security Analyst.
Pay Rate Range: $68 - $85
Job Description
This is a 7 month contract located in Scarborough, ON/ Hybrid (2 days/ week).
Daily activities:
• Review and identify new vulnerabilities
• Understand the complexities of vulnerability
• Assess if the company and any subsidiaries are impacted
• Identify if there is detection and prevention capabilities from our controls
• Determine impacted assets
Must-have requirements:
10 years of experience in Vulnerability management or associated cybersecurity roles.
Working knowledge of various network principles, cyber security concepts, investigation procedures, and adversary techniques.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
Cyberthreat intelligence is an asset
Spanish is an asset
Soft Skills Required:
• Possesses advanced communication (verbal/written/presentation) skills in English. Ability to travel and work flexible hours as needed for event schedules.
• Creative problem-solver with a customer-focused mindset.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineer, Cybersecurity or a related field (or equivalent experience).
