Job Description
This role focuses on gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into technical tasks, and supporting solution design and implementation in collaboration with stakeholders, delivery teams, and vendors. The Business Systems Analyst will document workflows, prepare use cases and test cases, ensure technical feasibility, and help bridge communication between technical and non-technical teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in common documentation and project tools, and familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
Role Overview
- The role involves working closely with business partners and delivery teams to gather and analyze requirements, translate user stories into technical tasks, document workflows, identify solutions, and establish system controls. The analyst will communicate with stakeholders to prioritize technology needs, collaborate with vendors to define solutions and operational models, and ensure technical feasibility.
- Responsibilities include translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences, preparing documentation such as use cases and test cases, identifying gaps in information, coordinating with procurement teams, and supporting project delivery and implementation.
- The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and has over five years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
- Proficiency in tools like Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Confluence, and Jira is essential, along with experience in cybersecurity assessments and software delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and familiarity with architectural frameworks such as AWS and Azure are key to success in this role.
