POSITION: IT Security Analyst
TYPE: Permanent full-time position at a renowned public organization
LOCATION: Hybrid, 2-3 days from the downtown Montreal office
RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute to IT security incident process design, implementation, and monitoring.
Enable protection of the assets and access control to information technology systems (network security architecture, network access).
REQUIREMENTS
- MS/BS degree in Computer Science or another relevant degree
- 5+ years of work experience in Cybersecurity that included absolute discretion in addressing IT security incidents
- Knowledge of network technologies and various computer systems administration in a large, networked environment
- Experience in the development of information security policies, vulnerability assessment, GRC-driven security guidelines, and process improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a structured teamwork environment
- Advanced English communication skills, preferably with some French abilities
- Certified Security Professional certification, like SSCP, CISSP, GIAC
- Knowledge of international security standards and best practices (ISO27001, FISMA)
