Your Role
As a Senior Principal Advisor, you will work on high-impact mandates ranging from cybersecurity maturity assessments to the deployment of high value-added solutions. You will support clients in defining their security roadmap, contribute to structuring their Information Security Management System (ISMS), and propose tailored action plans.
This is a hybrid position based in Montreal, QC, with flexibility for remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the security of client environments (technology, processes, and organizational aspects)
- Define cybersecurity strategies and lead their implementation
- Improve policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, OWASP, etc.)
- Ensure the proper operational condition and compliance of all security controls (such as EDR, DLP, and AV)
- Support risk management and incident tracking processes
- Conduct operational reviews and internal audits
- Implement cybersecurity solutions and automated analysis tools, including EDR solutions, SIEMs, monitoring solutions, etc.
- Participate in technology watch and industry monitoring
- Work closely with clients’ internal IT teams
Profile Sought
- 15 years in IT, including 8+ years in cybersecurity (technical and organizational)
- Engineering degree or specialized master’s degree in cybersecurity
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux systems
- Advanced security knowledge (networks, IAM, vulnerabilities, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of M365 and Azure cloud environments
- Excellent knowledge of security solutions such as SentinelOne, Fortinet, ManageEngine, etc.
- Experience in information systems security within regulatory frameworks (ISO, GDPR, NIST, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent
- Strong expertise in security audits, risk analysis, and documentation management
