Security Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Security Analyst for an 8-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Security Analyst - Job Description:
This role involves supporting a project aimed at uplifting the reporting space within Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) groups. The Security Analyst will be responsible for developing and delivering executive-level reporting and insights for cybersecurity and technology issues management.

Security Analyst - Responsibilities:

Produce recurring issues management reporting for various committees and forums
Create standardized portfolio views, including issue aging, SLA breaches, and thematic/systemic issues
Integrate and normalize reporting across the Three Lines of Defense
Identify patterns and perform thematic analyses across domains and technology types
Translate issue portfolio data into clear storylines and risk impact narratives
Own portfolio reporting controls and evidence trails
Improve issues reporting through better visuals, templates, and automation

Security Analyst - Mandatory Skills:

8+ years of experience in cyber/technology risk, issues management, audit reporting, or enterprise operational risk
Demonstrated experience building leadership reporting packs
Strong understanding of issues management lifecycle and CAP governance
Exceptional written communication and storytelling skills
Strong executive presence with the ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
Strong attention to detail

Security Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience working in a 3LoD operating model in a highly regulated environment
Familiarity with control frameworks such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, or COBIT
Tooling exposure to Archer, ServiceNow IRM, or Power BI/Tableau
Certifications such as CRISC, CISA, CISSP, or CISM

Security Analyst – Assignment Length:
The assignment is for 8 months, with the possibility of extension or conversion based on business needs and performance.
