Job Overview
The Cyber Security Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in cyber security concepts, tools, and practices. The instructor will prepare learners to understand, identify, and mitigate cyber threats while following industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom and/or online instruction in cyber security topics
- Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and assessments
- Teach core concepts such as network security, ethical hacking, risk management, and incident response
- Provide hands-on training using industry tools and real-world scenarios
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, labs, and examinations
- Support students with academic guidance and technical clarification
- Ensure course content aligns with current industry trends and standards
- Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and academic records
- Comply with institutional policies and academic guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in cyber security or information security roles
- Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques
Preferred Certifications
- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
- CompTIA Security+
- CISSP
- CISM or equivalent industry certifications

Employment Type
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
