Cyber Security Advisor

We are currently seeking a qualified Cyber Security Advisor with experience in developing, implementing, and optimizing robust cybersecurity solutions across complex IT and Operational Technology (OT/ICS) environments that accelerate digital transformation and safeguard critical business assets.

Responsibilities

- Assess cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities across systems, networks, and applications
- Advise management and technical teams on security best practices and risk mitigation strategies
- Develop, review, and implement cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures
- Monitor security threats, incidents, and trends, and provide timely recommendations
- Support incident response, investigation, and remediation activities
- Ensure compliance with relevant frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
- Conduct security awareness and training sessions for employees
- Collaborate with IT, legal, compliance, and business teams to align security with business goals
- Review third-party/vendor security risks and assessments
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, information security, or risk management
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, controls, and risk assessment methodologies
- Understanding of network security, cloud security, and endpoint protection
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and firewalls
Preferred Certifications
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or equivalent certifications
- ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor (preferred)
