Our client, a global organization operating within a highly regulated environment, is seeking a Manager, Global Cybersecurity to lead and mature its enterprise-wide security program from their Vancouver office on a 3-day/week in office hybrid work schedule. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational oversight, ensuring enterprise systems, data, and infrastructure are protected against evolving cyber threats while remaining compliant with regulatory requirements. Reporting into senior technology leadership, this individual will work closely with stakeholders across the business to establish a scalable, risk-aware cybersecurity posture aligned with organizational objectives.
Define and execute a business-aligned, risk-based global cybersecurity strategy and roadmap
Assess enterprise risk posture, conduct gap analyses, and prioritize security initiatives
Lead and mentor a cybersecurity team across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments
Oversee vulnerability management, security assessments, audits, and penetration testing
Own incident response planning and lead responses to security incidents and breaches
Guide security architecture design and the adoption of enterprise security technologies
Ensure centralized logging, monitoring, and continuous improvement of detection capabilities
7–10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including 3+ years in a leadership or management role
Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
Experience securing hybrid environments across cloud and on-prem infrastructure
Proven ability to communicate security risks and concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent
Willingness to travel internationally (up to ~20%)
