To Our Cybersecurity Team
CPA Ontario is currently in search of a Cybersecurity Analyst, Networking with a background in cybersecurity and network security, cloud services and SASE (Secure Access Service Edge). In this role, you will play an integral role in the overall cybersecurity activities, specifically SecOps and network security and SASE. Additionally, this role is critical for ensuring the security and efficiency of our network infrastructure, enabling secure access to our applications and data from anywhere, at any time .
What You’ll Be Doing
Monitoring cybersecurity and network tools, alerts, and performance, analyzing security incidents, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Assisting in incident response efforts in the event of a security breach or network issue, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
Collaboration with other IT and security teams to integrate and manage networking solutions with existing technology stack, infrastructure and frameworks.
Participating in the implementation of network and cybersecurity tools, policies, procedures.
Generating and analyzing security reports to measure the effectiveness of networking technologies and identifying areas for improvement.
Staying current with emerging trends and technologies in network security and SASE , recommending and implementing enhancements as needed and providing training to other team members and end users.
Who You Are
A post-secondary graduate in computer science, information security, digita l forensics or related field, or equivalent experience. Certification is considered an asset; CCNP and CISSP are preferred.
Experienced in network security with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in varied cybersecurity domains including SecOps, cyber GRC, infrastructure and security architecture. Exposure to DLP, SIEM, MDR and incident response would be an asset.
Familiar with SASE vendors and platforms such as Palo Alto Networks, Netskope, Cisco and Zscaler.
Able to assist with project management activities and manage network security projects from inception to completion.
Proficient in network security protocols, firewall management, VPNs, intrusion/detection/prevention systems and cloud security solutions.
Accomplished with Zero Trust security models and their implementation in a SASE environment.
A problem-solver with an analytical approach to diagnosing and resolving complex network security issues.
An excellent communicator (verbal and written) with strong presentation, interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Able to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Able to work efficiently and effectively as a team member, as well as independently.
Flexible and adaptable to changing technology and business needs while working in a dynamic environment where work outside of regular business hours may be required.
