We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Executive in Calgary to expand our presence in the private sector, specifically within oil & gas. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build on an established client base while driving new business and supporting organizations in their digital transformation efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand relationships with key accounts in the oil & gas sector, positioning Maverin as a trusted IT solutions provider.
- Identify new business opportunities, build a strong sales pipeline, and close deals within IT consulting, API development, cybersecurity, and project management services.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand client challenges and align Maverin’s offerings with their needs.
- Stay informed on industry trends and participate in networking events to strengthen Maverin’s market presence.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of ten years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within IT consulting or staffing services.
- Strong understanding of the oil & gas, energy, or related sectors and their technology needs.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close deals, and expand accounts.
- Proven consultative sales skills with the ability to identify client pain points and propose effective solutions.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
