Description:

As a Junior IT Specialist at Novatek International, you will play a crucial role in supporting our IT infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. Working closely with our senior team members, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a diverse range of IT tasks, from troubleshooting technical issues to implementing new technologies. Primary Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and network infrastructure.
Perform routine system monitoring and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Create and maintain Active Directory and Office 365 Accounts.
Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements.
Assist in the implementation of IT projects, including software/hardware upgrades, system migrations, and network expansions.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, and procedures.
Maintain company-wide disaster recovery plans.
Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in the IT industry, continuously expanding your knowledge and skills.

Required Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar IT support role, preferably in a small to medium-sized company.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent certification.
Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues on Windows platforms.
Experience with basic network troubleshooting and configuration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Familiarity with ITIL framework or other IT service management practices is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English (French is a nice to have).
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering high-quality support to end-users.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work with employees or customers located in different time zones.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Additional Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, vSphere).
Working knowledge of SQL/Oracle database Management.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS and Azure).
Basic knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, SQL).
Experience with IT security principles and practices.
