As Ninety continues to experience exceptional growth, we are looking to bring on a Cybersecurity Specialist that will work with our Engineering Team to continue to build, maintain, and audit our cybersecurity policies and practices. This role reports directly to the Head of Engineering and is crucial to continue providing our users with a safe and secure platform.

Ninety works in a small team structure, where Product, Design, Engineering, QA and Product Marketing all work in one or more “pods” together through the full product life cycle. All Responsibilities below are relevant to the pod(s) you are on.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Building and enforcing security policies across the organization
Continued security-related researching, testing, and auditing of the Ninety.io platform
Ensure all security and threat mitigation tools are configured and running properly
Staying up to date on emerging security threats and mitigation strategies
Implementing and rolling out security training for the organization
Developing, documenting, and testing SDLC security best practices
Defining and enforcing least privilege access controls across the organization
Mitigating, auditing, detecting, and rapidly responding to breaches

To be successful in this role, you must have:

Experience in a similar role
Self-motivated with the ability to own and execute cybersecurity best practices
In-depth understanding of OWASP testing methodologies along with static and dynamic security testing testing
Experience with security testing tools such as Metasploit, Nmap, Qualys, etc.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to breakdown technical issues thoroughly and efficiently and be able to articulate steps to reproduce issues
Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and work well under pressure
A dedication to being part of a team that puts their customer's needs first
The ability to work within the United States’ Eastern time zone

Nice to have:

Experience working at a fast-growing SaaS company
Previous experience with the SOC2 certification process
Cybersecurity professions certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, or similar)
Experience leading an organization’s cybersecurity practices
Experience with AWS, and serverless technologies
