Schedule: M-F , 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM , Weekends or additional hours may be needed.

Position Summary

Essential Job Functions

IT SECURITY SUPPORT

Researches and recommends new security risks and mitigationstrategies, tools, techniques, and solutions for the prevention, detection,containment, and correction of data security breaches. Effectively documentsand communicates security events to appropriate stakeholders. Assists inconducting penetration tests and vulnerability scans and in identifying,prioritizing, and coordinating mitigation of IT risks. Prepares reports thatidentify technical and procedural findings and provides recommended remediationstrategies/solutions. Performs security reviews of IT assets, third-partysoftware and vendors to ensure compliance with the privacy and data securitypolicies and legal requirements. Monitors security alerts, analyzes events, andtakes appropriate action to document, track, and escalate to stakeholders.Assists in maintaining information security infrastructure, tools, services,and/or policies and procedures. Investigates, analyzes,documents, and responds to computer events and incidents. Aids in theadministration of the IT change management program and the development anddelivery of cybersecurity awareness training. Assists in developing andconducting incident response exercises and tabletop sessions with incidentresponse teams. Participates in user groups, task forces, and committees asappropriate to develop an understanding of evolving technology threats andinitiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree in information systems/technology, computer science, cybersecurity, or related

business/IT field. State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s).

An appropriate combination of education, training, coursework and experience may qualify a candidate.
