I bring an evidence-driven approach to security work: I review what’s present, validate it against expected controls, document gaps clearly, and recommend practical next steps. I’ve completed the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate and I’m currently studying Harvard’s CS50AI. On the hands-on side, I use Splunk Cloud to analyze authentication activity and other log signals, isolate suspicious patterns over a defined time window, and produce concise, ticket-style write-ups that capture the key evidence and what to verify next. I’m comfortable in Linux and I rely on solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, ports) to make sense of what I’m seeing.
Before moving into cybersecurity, I worked in hospitality leadership where precision, repeatable processes, and clear documentation are non-negotiable. That background shaped how I operate: high attention to detail, calm execution under pressure, and strong written communication. I’m now focused on applying those strengths in an entry-level security or GRC environment—contributing through evidence review, structured documentation, and context-aware recommendations, while ramping quickly on the team’s frameworks and tooling.
