I am Sumit Sasi, an IT professional with over 10+ years of global experience in IT infrastructure and operations, holding a Bachelor’s in Computer Applications along with certifications in ITIL, Certified in Cybersecurity from ISC2, AWS, and Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat system Administrator, CCNA. Currently, I’ve transitioned my focus into cybersecurity, with 4 years of experience leading a Global SOC operations team, incident management, SSL certification lifecycle management and threat detection.
In my role as Global IT Team Lead at SICPA, I managed a 24×7 incident response team supporting high-profile clients like the United Nations and IATA. I monitored and triaged alerts from SIEM tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, and Nagios analyzed endpoints escalated incidents while creating structured playbooks; and led the knowledgebase management system. My efforts improved incident response times by 80% and maintained 99.9% uptime for over 2,500+ services for more than 3 consecutive years.
