I have been a senior privacy & cyber governance advisor/consultant for organizations such as the UN Capital Development Fund on behalf of UNDP & EU, the Department of National Defence in Canada, the Canadian Department of Defence, and a number of private and public sector clients.
I possess excellent communication skills as I am a sought after thought leader in cyber governance space. I have presented in North America and Europe. I have published 3 cybersecurity governance best practice manuals. I am in the process of publishing a 4th book. In addition, I also possess excellent analytical & problems solving skills which I have put to practice over the past 23 plus years. This was enhanced during the time I served as a senior advisor to Prime Ministers and Ministers on a number of different files.
I have a MA in Legal studies and over 10 plus years of experience in privacy & cybersecurity. I am well versed and have over 10 years of knowledge and experience with many security, privacy regulations and frameworks. I have obtained number of cloud certifications from both IBM & Red Hat. I am currently in the process of studying for the Certified Information Security Manager and Certified Information Technology Professional certifications.
As mentioned above, I have over 10 plus years’ experience delivering both privacy & cybersecurity programs, lead teams on audits and have worked with enterprise clients on their Data Loss Prevention program including cloud based DLP tools. I have provided ongoing advice on best practices for both private sector and provided advice to Department of Defence officials on best practices related to security controls within a SharePoint environment.
I have worked closely with enterprise clients to ensure that their Data Loss Prevention meets North American and European privacy & cyber frameworks.
I have been selected to work with the UN, EU, Department of Defence and many other enterprise clients due to my strong problem solving skills and experience in this field.
