Dear Hiring Manager,
I am currently seeking a position in Cyber Security position and would like to be considered by your company, I have completed college and earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science with a strong background in math, programming, and networking. I have worked as an intern at Cyber Octet Pvt Ltd. and have gained experience in learning how to keep any computer system secure from external attacks. Apart from this, I have learned about different domains of security. First is a vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, different methodologies of network and web penetration testing, and then writing a structured report was one of my daily tasks. Second is network security, I got hands-on experience with network management tools like Wireshark, Nmap, and Nessus and performed operations on simulated firewalls to understand how they work in real life. As a part of my internship, I developed a web-based vulnerability assessment tool that performs automated testing on Web -Applications with the help of python, angular, and PHP. Moreover, I have developed tools like network scanner, ARP Spoofer, Code Injector, DNS Spoofer, and many others which are helpful in conducting a Pentest in Python, I understand that this career requires a continuing education as hackers gain new ways to infiltrate computer systems, those of us in Cyber Security need to be one step ahead to keep them from success.
I also worked as an intern at Gurugram Cyber Cell and developed an understanding of Cyber frauds and investigations. This internship was very intense as we were taught about very serious Cyber crimes and how Indian Cyber cell is solving the cases. These cases include financial fraud, crypto fraud, CSAM, social media fraud, and many other. We were taught by many industry experts from across the globe and Mr. Rakshit Tandon conducted this awesome internship and contacted the experts to get on board.
My strengths lie in problem-solving and I love the challenge of being one step ahead of hackers who want to break into any computer system. I also have great skills in the English language and understand and use proper grammar, spelling, and the rules of composition which is important when creating documents and reports. I am also quite verbose and do not have a problem with either written or verbal communication and can make myself understood even when the jargon is very technical.
