I have just completed 2 years of immersive education in cybersecurity at ABM College where learning was led by experienced industry leaders. The education throughout included a strong component of theoretical and applied learning and consisted of group work, hands-on projects and simulations using VMs, Cisco Packet Tracer, Splunk SOAR and Tryhackme platforms for real-life scenarios that focused on: perfecting, hardening and deploying network systems, endpoint and mobile devices; penetration testing; vulnerability assessment; and threat intelligence.
