Job Title: Cybersecurity Principal/Architect

Location: Fairfax, Virginia (Onsite)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities

Implement and manage cybersecurity and information security frameworks to secure enterprise systems and data organization-wide.
Deploy, administer, and utilize cybersecurity tools, systems, and applications including endpoint protection, intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, vulnerability management, and forensics utilities.
Develop and enforce policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure secure and resilient enterprise-wide operations.
Oversee the deployment, administration, and support of security systems and infrastructure.
Monitor, research, and respond to cybersecurity events and incidents, including malicious code detection, intrusion attempts, and system vulnerabilities.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, audits, and validation to ensure compliance with policy and industry best practices.
Lead organization-wide cybersecurity training and awareness programs to educate and engage users on security best practices.
Stay current with industry developments, standards, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance our security posture.

Qualifications

7-10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on implementing and managing security frameworks and tools.
Proven expertise in endpoint protection, intrusion detection/prevention systems, application layer and traditional firewalls, vulnerability management, and forensics utilities.
Strong experience in conducting risk assessments, audits, and ensuring compliance with security policies and industry best practices.
Experience in developing and conducting cybersecurity training and outreach programs.
Up-to-date with industry developments, standards, and trends, including evolving technologies and cybersecurity threats.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly desirable.
