Role Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. In this commission-only role, you will be a key driver in our growth by identifying, engaging, and converting high-potential leads into valued clients. As a BDR at Athenaguard, you won’t just follow a script—you’ll be a proactive lead finder, setting the stage for the entire sales cycle from initial outreach to closing the sale. Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation:
Proactively research and identify potential clients across various industries.
Utilize digital tools, social media, networking events, and referrals to build a robust pipeline of leads.
Client Engagement:
Initiate contact with prospects via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
Qualify leads to assess their cybersecurity needs and potential fit with Athenaguard’s services.
Sales Cycle Management:
Conduct engaging discovery calls to understand client challenges.
Present tailored cybersecurity solutions and guide prospects through the sales process.
Negotiate and close deals, ensuring alignment with client needs and company targets.
Relationship Building:
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with prospects and clients.
Act as a trusted advisor, educating potential clients about the critical importance of cybersecurity.
Reporting & Feedback:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions.
Provide regular feedback to management on market trends and client needs.
Qualifications:
Experience:
1-3 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
A demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong research and analytical abilities for identifying high-quality leads.
Proficiency in CRM tools and sales enablement software.
Outstanding negotiation and closing skills.
