The ideal candidate is a culinary professional (Chef) who has converted to being a sales manager and able to prospect and close sales leads to generate revenue for the company. They will also be responsible for developing accounts, implementing solutions, and following the sales strategy. They will have solid culinary background with that have sales experience or have the mind set, attitude and aptitude to do sales.
Responsibilities
- Act as a kitchen solutions consultant to understand the challenges of the food operation
- Provide a solution to the issue in the kitchen with the proper cooking equipment
- Track and report all sales activities, leads and follow up calls
- Execute sales strategy
- Preform live cooking demonstrations
Qualifications
- Experience as a high volume Chef (Banquet Chef, Executive Chef, Exec Sous Chef et al)
- Experience generate and maintaining relationships with sales leads
- Sales experience or a desire and ability to do sales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
