Role Overview
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Information Security, the Security Analyst will be a key contributor to the protection against the unauthorized access or corruption of LifeStance’s systems and information, which includes medical records. Recommends and implements policies and procedures intended to continually improve LifeStance’s information systems security, protecting the data assets and other IT interests that can be jeopardized by cyber security threats. Approaches responsibilities with a focus on customer satisfaction, implementing efficient and effective security technology solutions, and partnering with clinical and business stakeholders in support of the company’s mission, vision, and values.

COMPENSATION: $60,000 - $100,000/annually
This position is fully remote and can be performed anywhere within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Identify, investigate, and remediate potential security issues.
- Plan, research, and document security standards and work instructions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of procedures and work instructions, including those for security architecture, disaster recovery, and security technology.
- Partner with internal and external teams to ensure a continual focus on security standards.
- Identify and implement security strategies and best practices as it relates to the organizational IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems). Contribute to the design of security solutions and strategies.
- Liaisons with internal product and development teams to ensure appropriate security considerations are included throughout the Software Development Life Cycle
- Identifies trends and analyzes data, to be used to inform leadership and contribute to the development of plans, deliverables, and recommendations.
- Proposes plans for integrations or upgrading existing or acquired technologies to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Liaisons with managed service providers to drive efficiencies and ensure execution on the scope of services. Provides feedback on the service providers effectiveness to the Sr. Director of Information Security.
- Implement secure network solutions designed to defend against cyber-threats, persistent threats, e.g., deploy and maintain wireless networks, various operating systems, Active Directory, mobile device management, data loss tools.
- Proposes new techniques and plans to improve IT security and/or customer satisfaction or efficiency.
- Identifying process gaps across the corporation that impact efficiency.
Skills & Experience
- Education and experience requirements have some flexibility, as follows:
- Associate’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field plus 2+ years of progressively increasing responsibility and demonstrated success in an Information Security role, OR
- Comptia Security Certification or equivalent plus 2+ years of progressively increasing responsibility and demonstrated success in an Information Security role, OR
- 4+ years of progressively increasing responsibility and demonstrated success in an Information Security role.
- 1+ year of experience of experience must be supporting Information Security for a multi-site organization.
- Hands-on and technical experience managing and supporting cyber security frameworks. Experience in providing cyber security frameworks for HIPAA, PCI, and Sarbanes Oxley strongly preferred.
- Ability to work with managed service providers to support secure cloud platforms such as O365, Azure and AWS
- Independent with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of incident response procedures, Cyber Security frameworks, regulatory requirements, and payment card standards
- Experience identifying and implementing security process improvement opportunities.
- Critical thinker with a creative approach to solving business problems as they arise.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to multiple users and stakeholders with a high level of proficiency.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with an ability to prioritize and effectively manage competing demands for both time and attention in a fast-paced environment.
