Job Description
The Account Manager is responsible for establishing a strategic direction for their designated accounts. This will be created through fostering a strong relationship and account discovery.
Please Note: This is a remote role but it is HIGHLY preferred that the person selected will be in Western Canada as the supported accounts are in Saskatchewan and Alberta.
Duties
- The role is responsible for the development and implementation of an account plan that informs the interaction of Syngenta stakeholders with individuals throughout the account.
- The account manager is accountable for achieving annual revenue targets, managing inventory levels and the execution of account focused initiatives.
- Work closely with various people across the organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum B.Sc.or B.Comm, plus a minimum of 7 to 10 years experience in agri-business industry, or related role.
- Extensive experience in the Canadian Crop Protection market.
- Over 5 years of previous sales or marketing management experience
- Excellent business acumen including the ability to conduct financial analysis
- Must be able to quickly establish professional relationship based on solid business principles and foster excellent interpersonal relationships.
