ABOUT THE JOB:
The Global Technology Services (GTS) department supports the IT infrastructure services at Société Générale. GTS’ mission is to provide the group’s business divisions with secured infrastructures. This includes, but is not limited to, hosting business applications, offering cloud solutions, and managing connectivity and digital workplace requests, all while contributing to the group’s digital transformation efforts.
Our department is composed of talented professionals who every day translate ideas into action by combining the strength of our expertise in IT with a deep understanding of corporate and investment banking. Our objective is to deliver a simple, agile, and efficient information system platform in a risk-controlled environment that allows us to grow our business in existing and new markets, launch new products and take advantage of new opportunities when they arise. We are responsible for ensuring the stability and resilience of SG America’s technology infrastructure as well as facilitating entry to new markets, new technologies, compliance with regulatory needs, growth in business volumes, and operational efficiency improvements in our overall front to back processing environment.
What will be your DAY-TO-DAY?
This individual should be capable of operating independently in high-pressure situations with strong expertise in network technologies. As a key member of the HCS global team (Data Center Hosting, Network Connectivity & Security tower), this individual is expected to lead and support network projects in the Americas region and play a crucial role in defining technical roadmaps across the Americas.
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in technical projects with local and global teams
- Implement DNA in the campus and deploy ACL in data centers
- Provide level 2/3 operations support, including business hours monitoring
- Communicate daily morning check reports
- Improve operational processes and documentation
- Participate in on-call support during non-business hours
- Manage incidents and handle Level 2/3 operations issues
- Prioritize daily requests and deliveries
- Oversee change management and peer reviews
- Contribute to network automation initiatives
- You are willing to participate on on-calls schedule which include overnights and weekends based on team’s needs (approx. once a month)
You will be working in an Agile environment (Scrum).

Skills and Qualifications:
Must Have: - 5 years of hands-on experience in data network and/or network security operations
- Good working knowledge of:
- Cisco Catalyst 9k/6k/4k/3k, Nexus 9k/7k/5k/3k/2k
- STP, HSRP, VDC, VPC, VLAN, LACP, OTV
- Routing on ISR/ASR platforms - OSPF/BGP/MPLS, Multicast
- Telecom technologies like DWDM
- ITIL and IT infrastructure management best practices
Nice to Have:
- Experience with or willingness to learn Cisco ACL
- Unix system management & scripting capability: Python & Ansible, GITHUB
- Knowledge of network tools: Shinken / Nagios
- Experience with network probes: Corvil
- Familiarity with matrix switches: Gigamon, Arista
- Experience with Fortinet, Checkpoint & Cisco ASA Firewalls
- Knowledge of NAC and WiFi
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, DEC, or equivalent technical certifications
- Bonus: Cisco CCNP/CCIE level certification
Languages: French, English
Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
