Training and Awareness:
Develop and deliver security training programs for developers, IT staff, and other stakeholders.
Create training materials, documentation, and presentations to educate teams on vulnerability management best practices.
Promote a security-aware culture within the organization through continuous education and awareness initiatives.
Vulnerability Management:
Perform regular vulnerability scans and assessments of IT infrastructure and applications.
Analyze vulnerability scan results, prioritize risks, and coordinate remediation efforts with relevant teams.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive vulnerability management program.
Track and report on the status of vulnerabilities and remediation efforts.
Security Advisory:
Provide expert advice on vulnerability management best practices to internal teams and stakeholders.
Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures related to vulnerability management.
Incident Response:
Assist in the investigation and response to security incidents related to vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with the incident response team to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
Compliance and Auditing:
Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
Participate in internal and external security audits and assessments.
