Position Summary We are seeking an Information Security Analyst to join our Global Security and Compliance Team supporting the company's Information Security Management System (ISMS) to reduce risk and assist in the sale of solutions. You will also provide support for other security-related business requests. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in information security, threat monitoring, incident response, and compliance management.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation, day-to-day running, and maintenance of the company's Information Security Management System (ISMS).
- Perform threat monitoring by monitoring security logs and user accounts across all corporate systems, ensuring the security of our business users.
- Monitor and respond to evolving security threats, staying updated on the latest security trends and vulnerabilities.
- Analyze and respond to Request for Information (RFI) documents, providing security-related information to support the sales team.
- Log and respond to security incidents, coordinating with relevant teams for resolution.
- Maintain existing security accreditations and certifications, such as Cyber Essentials and PCI DSS.
- Manage the company's security awareness program to educate employees about security best practices.
- Participate in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery activities as required.
- Support in arranging and reviewing product penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and ensure product security.
- Provide guidance on company, product, and platform security to internal stakeholders.
- Assess and report on supply chain and third-party security to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Support the security and compliance team in other responsibilities as needed.
Experience & Skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field desirable.
- Strong interest in and knowledge of information security principles and practices.
- Familiarity with security management systems and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, HITRUST).
- Understanding of common security technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in information security, threat monitoring, or incident response is a plus.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are desirable but not required.
- Self-starter and an independent thinker who can be set to task and find the answers.
