Reporting to Senior Manager Cybersecurity, Entreprise Architecture and IT Governance, the Analyst, Cybersecurity and Controls, IT will be responsible for assisting in the implementation, monitoring, maintenance and controls of IT processes and security measures to protect an organization's computer systems, networks, and data. Duties include analyzing security threats, conducting vulnerability assessments, responding to security incidents, and assisting in the development of security policies and procedures.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING | THE ROLE
The main responsibilities are:
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing security events and alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Support in conducting regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in systems and networks.
- Assist in responding to security incidents (N2 / N3), including investigating and containing security breaches.
- Develop, maintain and update security and IT controls tools, systems, and protocols to ensure optimal protection and processes consistency. Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and controls.
- Collaborate with other IT Teams and security teams to address security concerns and implement effective solutions.
WHAT YOU BRING | THE PERSON
The ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field and a first relevant experience in cyber security or IT incident management.
- Strong understanding of network and system security principles, protocols, and technologies.
- Knowledge of common security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, antivirus software (XDR / EDR), etc.
- Familiarity with security standards and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Cloud certification (AZ-900, AWS CCP or equivalent) or first experience with a cloud environment.
- Experience in project management is a plus.
- Bilingualism (French and English).
