cFocus Software is seeking a Senior Software Architect to join our Cross Domain Solutions program in Reston, VA. This position requires an active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility.
Qualifications:
Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility.
5+ years of experience working with Special Access Programs (SAPs).
Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in developing system design solutions that satisfies the system requirements and fulfills the functional analysis.
8+ years of experience in developing derived requirements for Information Assurance Services (Confidentiality, Integrity, Nonrepudiation, and Availability); Basic Information Assurance Mechanisms; and Security Mechanism Technology.
Able to direct fulfillment of requirements from inception to conclusion of project.
Able to direct development of complex database systems including schema and architectural design.
Experience using Cloud methodologies.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical staff.
Enforce the design and implementation of trusted relations among external systems and architectures.
Assess and mitigate system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle.
Contribute to the security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification and awareness activities for system and networking operations.
Review certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation, providing feedback on completeness and compliance of its content.
Perform system installation, configuration maintenance, account maintenance, signature maintenance, patch management, and troubleshooting of operational IA and CND systems.
Apply system security engineering expertise in one or more of the following to : system security design process; engineering life cycle; information domain; cross domain solutions; commercial off-the-shelf and government off-the-shelf cryptography; identification; authentication; and authorization; system integration; risk management; intrusion detection; contingency planning; incident handling; configuration control; change management; auditing; certification and accreditation process; principles of IA (confidentiality, integrity, nonrepudiation, availability, and access control); and security testing
