Network Engineer Specialist

We are looking for a Network Engineer Specialist for our customer. Clearance certificate is required.

Job specifications:

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in testing or/and operation or/and development or/and integration in network management environments
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience with network equipment, specifically with Cisco switching and routing platforms (Cisco 9K, 9300s, 6508 and APIC)
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in IT Operations work, including the operational capabilities and typical challenges of IT Operations
• Demonstrated ability to participate with the development process (supporting continuous integration and deployment) from idea to implementation
• Demonstrated experience with scalable and highly available service-oriented architectures
• Demonstrated experience in working with Agile methodology
• Demonstrated experience in working with Cisco ASA and/or Firepower Technologies

Additional Qualifications

The following will also be considered:

·       Demonstrated experience in working with Cisco NCS 5500

·       Demonstrated experience in working with ServiceNow

. Demonstrated experience working with F5 Loadbalancers

Services:

You will be responsible for providing the following Services

·       Play a key role in the operational team, with focus on evergreening and operational support

·     Resolve complex cross functional technical issues in a timely manner

·     Participate in the planning and execution of testing related to production deployment validation, performance, failover and vulnerabilities remediation, and disaster recovery

·     Analyze the current solutions environment to identify deficiencies and opportunities for simplification as part of continuous improvements and evergreening activities

·     Define and implement required upgrades and changes to address operational problems or new business requirements as well as support problem troubleshooting in Prod and non-prod environments

·     Other related activities and deliverables as required
