We are looking for an Account Manager (Sales) at our Head Office located in Sherwood Park. This position works Monday to Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM. The Account Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Business Development. The role is responsible for managing the organization’s current customers, attracting new business, and maintaining a positive image of the company. Additionally, they are responsible for safely, responsibly, and ethically attracting new customers and building strong customer relationships. They act as the main point of contact for all customer concerns and issues.

  • 2+ years of directly related experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with others
  • Sound analytical thinking, problem solving, prioritization, decision making, and execution skills
  • Results oriented mindset
  • Possess a valid drivers license

The Role

  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Act as a liaison between customers and various departments of Caron Transportation
    • Conduct customer site visits to proactively ensure customer satisfaction
    • Initiate or update existing site evaluations and forward on to Caron’s Operations Department
    • Attend and host social functions with customers to ensure strong relationships


  • New Business Attraction
    • Meet individually with customers to define scope of work
    • Meet with Caron’s Operations Department to ensure equipment and manpower are available
    • Meet with Caron’s Sales Administrative Coordinator to obtain rates and submit to customer
    • Finalize agreement between customer and Caron’s Operations Department
    • Participate and support the completion of contracts
