Job Title: Network Engineer - Services and Devices

Primary Skills: Network Engineer who can manage Nw Services and Devices ( router / Switches /proxy etc .
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain network services and devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, and load balancers.
- Configure and optimize network protocols and services, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and QoS.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of network services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements and objectives.
- Conduct network capacity planning and implement scalability enhancements to support growing business needs.
- Implement and enforce network security policies and practices to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate hardware/software procurement and upgrades as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and support staff.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network emergencies and incidents in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on managing network services and devices.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, OSI model, routing, and switching.
- Hands-on experience with network equipment from leading vendors, such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, and F5.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (VLANs, STP).
- Experience with network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and proxy servers.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds).
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
