The Business and Technology Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an opening for a full-time Computer & Information Technologies Instructor. This position requires the ability to teach on the local campus.
Job Duties
This position will be responsible for instruction both online and in the classroom (potentially daytime and evening), maintaining office hours for mentoring and coaching students, success and retention activities, and utilization of Blackboard for communication and feedback. This position may teach on multiple JCTC campuses.
Other Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
Academic advising
Course and curriculum development
Internal and external community service
Educational leadership and professional development.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related area; or Bachelor’s degree in non-related area and relevant professional experience (minimum of two years).
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in computer programming, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
