DMC Recruitment Group is working with a leading building materials - EPS Insulation products and Building Systems manufacturer to hire a Territory Sales Representative for the Northern Alberta region. This is a leading company with a well-established reputation and Client following. This region represents a high-growth opportunity for further development and penetration within the AB, BC and SK market segments.

Our client is a leading building materials - EPS Insulation products and Building System manufacturer that provides specialty items for residential and commercial application. With a strong brand/reputation and a great line of products, they can provide their customers with exceptional service and great quality products.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales opportunities with both existing clients and building new relationships with new customers throughout the Northern Alberta region. This job requires a strong self-motivated individual who is a focused-on relationships, who can commit to traveling throughout the AB region and Northern BC and SK as required. The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for pulling demand through the local Distribution network, and for working with their team on a targeted plan to expand and most effectively service the region. The TSR will work directly with customers who will include Commercial General Contractors, Distribution centers, Architects and Designers, to provide exceptional products with exceptional service.

The Candidate

  • 3+ years’ experience in an outside sales position, ideally with a network within the Northern AB Region
  • Knowledge of the Construction Industry is key
  • Ability to Read and Understand technical drawings
  • Comfortable with cold-calling, possesses a balanced miner/hunter sales mentality, and can work towards targets
  • Must possess the ability to present as a professional with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and an intense desire to work in the automatic door business are a must.
  • High School Diploma Required
  • College diploma or post-graduate certificate in industry relevant program (i.e., Construction Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology)

This position demands a results-oriented approach coupled with high-energy, reliability and personal discipline.

Salary - $75 to 90K per year plus Sales Bonus paid monthly + Car Allowance + Benefits +Vacation and More!!
