Data Security Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Security Analyst in Reston, VA. Responsibilities:

• Data Security Analyst will interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources
• Removing corrupted data and fixing errors and related problems
• Filter and -clean- data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
• As a Data Security Analyst, you will work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  
  

Requirements

• Experience with converting data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions related to vulnerability management
• Experience with conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and design
• Experience with monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements
• Experience with risk management involving ongoing monitoring and evaluation of processes
• Understanding of vulnerability management
• Knowledge of Data Lake, Archer, and ServiceNow
• Strong analytical skills and able to convert data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions
• Strong attention to details, organized and proactive
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Salary: $53 - $72 per hour
