About the role

Join the Partner Solutions (PSI) team as Manager of Cybersecurity Operations!

Your role will essentially be to ensure the monitoring of the infrastructures under PSI's responsibility, the management of security incidents, the supervision of security investigations and an active participation in the maintenance of security controls.

What you'll do here:

  • Provide uninterrupted (24/7) security monitoring of all IT operations and infrastructure.
  • Develop and test documented action plans in the event of a security incident.
  • Oversee the cybersecurity incident response process.
  • Assist in the implementation of controls to mitigate operational risks.
  • Work closely with internal teams to detect and understand threats.
  • Maintain and regularly update security tools, technologies, and processes.
  • Participate in the evaluation of technological tools, software, and practices.
  • Implement new technologies to mitigate operational risks.
  • Oversee the process of updating security patches.

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science of technology, information security or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in team management.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in information technology.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in information security.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • Possess advanced knowledge in areas such as computer networking, operational security platforms, information security principles, application development, and technical writing.
  • Possessing a recognized certification such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or GSEC is an asset.
  • Knowledge of standards, regulations and legislation governing information security (NIST, OBIT5, ISO 27001) is an asset.
  • Analytical mind and pragmatic approach to addressing IT security issues and issues.
  • Leadership ability to facilitate collaboration within the team.
  • Mentor and coaching skills to develop the team within the company.
  • Ability to compose and present material to communicate complex concepts and achieve consensus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple objectives.
  • Highly motivated, autonomous, and attentive to details.
  • Ability to effectively manage priorities in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to deal diplomatically at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Customer-oriented approach to meet business needs.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
