Position Purpose: 

                The Information Security Risk Analyst role will be an instrumental team member on the Information Security Governance Risk and Compliance team, owning the information security training and awareness program. They will drive improvements through communication, training, and identification of security best practices and requirements to advance a cyber-aware culture at Sleep Number.  

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive program for enterprise Information Security Training and Awareness, keeping team members up to date on current security threats, tips, requirements, and applicable trainings.
  • Assist in the coordination and facilitate activities for October Cybersecurity Awareness Month, including informational sessions, activities, training modules, articles, and contests.
  • Manage the Sleep Number phishing platform, facilitate all phishing campaigns, and reporting on progress and updates.
  • Coordinate meetings for the Sleep Number Security Champions program, partnering with departments across the company for increased security exposure and education.
  • Facilitate the Information Security Policy and Standard periodic review and approval process, updating the document repository in all locations.
  • Update security communications and collaboration spaces for all Information Security topics relevant to business partners.
  • Collaborate with other members of the cybersecurity team, Corporate Communications, Training, Legal and relevant operational teams to gather data and insights on risks and training opportunities.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Increase engagement and participation for enterprise/focused security training.
  • Decrease phishing failure rate and increase reported suspicious email metrics.
  • Measured activity in communication portals.
  • Timelines met for all Information Security policy requirements.

Position Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent education, post-secondary education preferred
  • Ability to problem-solve and work through day-to-day blockers and know when to escalate vs. self-solve while building and maintaining productive business relationships. 
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment, navigate ambiguity, leveraging best practices, and approaching any problem as a team-player with a can-do attitude. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface with all levels of business, including executive leadership. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong oral and written communication skills required, including a natural ability to tailor communication to various audiences.  Ability to solve problems collaboratively. 
  • Creative problem solver, flexible, proactive, and work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment. 
  • Demonstrates a desire and willingness to learn cybersecurity concepts and subject matter which could be unfamiliar initially to a person in this role. Curious, self-learner.
  • Experience interacting with GRC platforms such as Service Now, ZenGRC, or equivalent. 
  • Experience in Retail and/or eCommerce.

Working Conditions

  • Intermittent weekend and evening work may be required for production or operational support, during implementations and to meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Typical office environment, requiring at least 8 hours standing or sitting.
