Physical Security Analyst II

Overview

Responsible for operational oversight of security systems and procedures

  • Ensures proper escalation of any security officer personnel related issues
  • Coordinates/Dispatches emergency responses to all security events
  • Resolves complex customer service issues
  • Oversees Security Control Center Coordinators and security operations during Events
  • Recognizes potential and realized security threats and takes reasonable action to mitigate risk or injuries to personnel and or property
  • Prepares and conducts after action reviews of Events, identifying areas to sustain procedures/policies and areas to improve procedures/policies
  • Initiates Incident Report investigations and provides detailed reports for incidents occurring during events
  • Serve as the first point of contact to Event Host(s) for any security matters or inquires for upcoming Events, and during an Event
  • Ensures event host requests/accommodations are aligned with Mastercard policy and Security Procedures
  • Monitors the Guest Management System
  • Assigns members of the Security Team to necessary posts to support Events
  • Reviews upcoming Event details and raises awareness to Security Management of any requirements to support upcoming Events
  • Recommends the development and implementation of physical security policies, programs and procedures related to Events
  • Covers the Security Console and/or Security Posts when not providing Event support, at the direction of Security Management
  • Provides additional training as needed to Security Officers with respect to the execution of established physical security policies, programs and procedures
  • Ensures requests for guest escorts are monitored and are attended to.


Role

  • Primary function will be as the security oversight and on site person for events at the NYC tech Hub.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
