Our growing team is hiring a Cyber Security Analyst/Senior Cyber Security Analyst who will develop and maintain information security assurance policies and procedures. Joining our team will give you the opportunity to contribute your skills to our robust security program and work on a high-performing, collaborative team that helps our customers securely save for their financial future.

In this position, you will:

• Review network, computers, applications, and other IT systems to ensure compliance with relevant policies, laws, and regulations.
• Perform assurance reviews of Active Directory, cloud resource access, and threat mitigation.
• Provide training, education, and advice on information security topics to Agency employees in support of the security policies and practices.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, testing and administration of the organization’s security and disaster recovery plans.
• Assist with monitoring and assessing security risks and network threats.
• Continuously develop your skills through agency-paid professional development opportunities

Successful candidates will have:

• 2 - 4+ years of experience in information technology with exposure to and familiarity of security operations and various security solutions
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
• Relevant industry certification such as Security+ or Network+
• Experience with vulnerability assessment reports, security reviews, project management and documentation of policies and procedures
• Knowledge of current trends and technologies related to information security
• Knowledge of current network technologies, architectures, protocols and standards; encryption; and security products and tools
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong project management and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently while adjusting to shifting priorities to meet critical deadlines
• Strong problem solving and detail orientation skills
• Ability to facilitate cooperation from team members, vendors, and other partners
• proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Work Environment

• This position will work onsite in our office 2 days per week
• Typical office environment with considerable time in a sitting, stationary position
• Must be able to occasionally move about the office to retrieve files and documents
• Constantly operate a computer and other office equipment including typing and keying
• Must be able to exchange accurate information accordingly
• Occasional night and weekend work required
• Minimal travel required
