Position Overview:

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled network administrator to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage the company's network infrastructure to ensure smooth operations and maximum uptime.
• Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess infrastructure needs and develop solutions that meet business objectives.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to network services, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and optimizing costs.
• Implement and enforce network security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, to safeguard sensitive data and systems.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend enhancements to network security.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal teams, helping resolve network-related issues and optimizing performance.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network administration and security, recommending and implementing improvements as needed.
• Document network configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a network administrator or similar role, preferably in the fintech or banking industry.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and tools, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and routing protocols.
• Experience with network security practices and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols.
• Familiarity with cloud networking principles and technologies, including virtual private clouds (VPCs) and software-defined networking (SDN).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+, are a plus.
• Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation is desirable.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
