IT Security Analyst

The IT Security Analyst position plays a vital role in safeguarding the institutions’ information technology systems and data against potential cyber threats. The position assists with assessing, designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the institution’s information assets and data. The position collaborates with cross-functional teams to assist in identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security best practices, and responding to security incidents.

Salary Range: $65,618 - $84,210 (commensurate with experience)

Minimum Job Requirements

• Associate's degree & 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in information security and systems administration.
• Demonstrated expertise in configuring and managing security solutions.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment tools and penetration testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards such as SANS, ISO 27001, and NIST
• Prior involvement in incident response and disaster recovery planning.
• Experience with and monitoring security infrastructure and tools.
  
  

Preferred Qualification

At this time, this position operates on a hybrid schedule, with an on-campus/in-office presence at least three days a week.
