Role Description This full-time Presales Manager role is a hybrid position based in Toronto, ON, with flexibility for partial work from home. The Presales Manager will collaborate with sales teams and technical experts to understand client requirements, design security-focused solutions, and prepare tailored proposals and presentations. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading discovery sessions, conducting product demos, responding to RFPs and RFIs, and aligning solution architectures with customer environments. The role also involves coordinating proof-of-concept engagements, supporting integration plans, and ensuring a smooth transition from presales activities to project delivery. The Presales Manager will maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers, provide feedback to product and engineering teams, and help refine sales strategies and messaging.
Qualifications
- Strong Consulting skills to gather requirements, advise on security solutions, and build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in Sales and Presales, including solution pitching, proposal creation, and supporting complex deal cycles.
- Project Management abilities to coordinate presales activities, manage timelines, and support the handover to delivery teams.
- Experience with Integration of security tools and architectures into existing client environments, including basic understanding of IT infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threat prevention, and modern defense technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Toronto, ON, collaborating in person and remotely with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Security, Business) or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in security-focused SaaS, managed security services, or enterprise technology solutions is an asset.
