Infrastructure Architect
Will be responsible to act as the Infrastructure Architect with the following groups: Infrastructure/Network, Servers, Cyber, Cloud.
Will work with the hands on leaders of each of these groups and act with Strategy and Design.
Will need someone that comes from a multi facility environment and international experience would be a plus.
The Infrastructure Architect assures that solutions can be implemented across multiple cloud, hybrid setups and on-prem environments and that data authentication, encryption and authorization security requirements are addressed by baseline data and applications infrastructure patterns.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Information Systems or similar field.
- Knowledge of systems/network administration/implementation and design to include LAN/WAN/SDWAN connectivity, remote authentication/encryption for access using VPN or similar solutions, platform engineering, synergies in proprietary systems, lifecycle management, documentation, secure communication, security/AV/Malware systems and meeting compliance standards.
- Ability to build and implement Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and other Microsoft/Linux services and systems designed and create successful management of these systems
- Creation and design of solutions for patching, update and inventory management to assure enterprise applications and systems are patched and secured as needed across all systems and applications used in the organization.
- Ten (10) years of experience in IT environments with demonstrated experience in infrastructure designsupporting ERP, PLM, CRM systems, etc. , exposure with business intelligence and data analytics (Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, etc.) and proven large system/network implementations.
- Three (3) years of experience working as an Infrastructure Architect) with strong experience in architecting IT systems or a combination of with proven architected solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in infrastructure architectures, on-prem, hybrid and in the cloud (particularly Azure) as it relates to the potential and the limitations of all aspects of information technology including but not limited to infrastructure, security, data management and development
- Experience in successful large system migrations and upgrades involving multiple interfacing systems
- Demonstrated proficiency in architectural design principles through leveraging ITIL based methodologies and industry standards and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills when presenting solutions design and implementation to a variety of stakeholders (technical, functional, management)
- Highly organized and self-motivated with a focus on technology integration, system and process efficiency, maximized solution supportability and fiscal management effectiveness
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
